A Personal Practice Turned Keepsake.

These scrunchies began as part of my general explorations with sewing, using them as a tactile way to work with my hands and promote self care while at the same time pouring into myself since I kept longing for pieces that held all my hair (and looked stylish doing it). They ended up beginning to express softness, color, and identity, heavily relating to projects and observations that I was interpreting in my other art forms as I was learning about self-work and inclusion practices. What started as an experiment in fabric and self-care has grown into a collection that carries stories of healing, creativity, and belonging.

This fall-inspired collection brings my original artwork, Wave, Fro, Daisy, into texture and tone. Each color and pattern reflects the beauty of identity in motion. Scrunchies Daphny and Dovealene are new additions from the dosage.

Scrunchies FAQs

Double Dose: Approx 6 1/2 inches in diameter when stretched. $15
Dose(Regular): Approx 5 1/2 inches when stretched. $8
Dose(Regular) Loose: Approx 8 inches in diameter when stretched. Ideal for individuals with thicker hair, or who want to use it to style around a styled bun. $8
Small: For thinner hair types, best for children. $6
Mini and Aspired: The minis are best bought in pairs for use of two braid looks, or single for that end of hair accessory. Still has the ability for double twist. Aspired are fun fabrics that I rather give at a smaller price because of either quality, quantity, or passion. $3
Each size has the availability to double twist to become tighter over time.

Most scrunchies are made from Charmeuse Satin.
Others are made with cotton and linen blends and/or are slightly textured.
Updates will be made accordingly.
Charmeuse Satin fabric: is luxuriously shiny on the front side, with a matte finish on the backside. A soft smooth texture that’s beneficial for all hair types and textures.
All Scrunchies are made with 1/4 inch thick elastic to hold formation for even the thickest of hair types and textures. Each elastic is individually sewn, not tied, for durability and long stability.
Machine Wash, Cold; Tumble Dry, Low
Recommended:
Wash in a small bucket or bowl with tap-luke warm water and mild detergent. Wring out excess water then press with towel and lay out flat to dry.
For the best and safest cleaning, it is recommended to only wash this fabric with similar colors to prevent any bleeding or fading.
